After starting my prenatal care at a typical OB/GYN provider, I started to question and have some doubts on whether this was the route I wanted to go and how I wanted to birth my baby. Even before formally signing up with her, Amie spent hours on the phone comforting me and providing knowledge to help me make my decision. I knew after a long discussion with her after a dissatisfactory appt at my OB/GYN, she not only confirmed I wanted to go the midwife/doula route, but also made me absolutely certain she was the right doula for me.

Throughout my entire pregnancy, Amie offered continual guidance and support in anything from nutrition to baby products to the birth itself. She was SUCH an amazing resource and made my pregnancy such a positive and fearless experience. Her calm presence and reassurance made me feel so confident and empowered leading up to and come the actual birthing day. 

Her role in my pregnancy and birth is immeasurable and invaluable, offering exactly what I needed whether it was affirmations or counter pressure! Not only was she our doula but she was able to photograph moments of the birth and those photos have become my most treasured mementos!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about her. There is no question I want her to be there for the birth of all my future babies, nor would I hesitate to 100% recommend her to anybody giving birth. I like to think I’ve gained a continued friendship for the years beyond! She is absolutely amazing and I am so grateful for Amie’s part in my birth story.  -Shelby
