As your doula, I would love to bring peace into your birth space. I would be honored to come beside you, to serve you, uplift you, encourage you, cry with you, pray for you, and constantly remind you that you are strong! I believe that your birth belongs to you! I believe in a woman’s ability to birth and I believe that her whole birth team needs to believe that as well. I believe that when a woman feels supported and educated, then she will feel confident in herself and in her ability for her body to give birth just as it was designed to do. Birth reveals the power of a woman! How women birth matters and we can be intentional about choosing how and where we birth.
I don’t want to just help mothers get through birth, but for them to be able to appreciate it for the incredible experience that it is. My goal is to be an informative support as well as offering the knowledge and research to help mothers make informed decisions. I believe that a doula is an advocate for the mother but does not speak for her. A doula encourages the mother to speak for herself.
I desire to support you in your moments of weakness and your moments of strength. I will serve you with an open heart. My goal is for you to be able to look back on your birth experience and feel like you were well cared for and loved. I have been serving families in the Des Moines Area since the spring of 2019 and would love to connect with you!
